He performed the scheduled maintenance that I had requested and updated me on any issues that he discovered. He answered my questions and completed a job in a timely manner. Al was amazing, my furnace went out on a Tuesday night and he was out the next morning to give me a quote, he came in below my budget and had his techs out Friday morning. JNL Review

I found JNL after an extensive search for a new HVAC contractor to service our house and office. I had recently learned our top of the line 10 year old Trane furnace was manufactured with a compromised heat exchanger which had cracked. The Trane unit had been nothing but trouble over the years (due to the unit itself and poor installation) so, despite it only being 10 years old, I decided to replace instead of repair. Our long time contractor had been taken over by private equity and was an absolute mess. As I started my research I quickly learned that the quality of installation is so much more important than the brand or equipment. I decided on a Carrier Infinity unit and began an extensive search for contractors qualified to install.

I had received a handful of quotes from the contractors most local to me and JNL was my last quote. Kevin from JNL was the only person who looked at my situation from the eyes of an installer and identified several areas for improvement that could be accomplished while we were replacing the system. He wanted to make sure we not only corrected our equipment, but also the installation so that we didn’t end up in the same situation. So many of the other companies simply sent a sales guy who had no real understanding of proper duct sizing and configuration. They simply wanted to sell me the same sized equipment and let their installers figure it out. Kevin’s knowledge and experience was readily apparent and after telling me a little bit about the company I knew they were my choice. It was the least pushy and most educational quote I received. Their pricing was competitive with the others I had obtained and we went ahead and scheduled the installation at a time that was convenient for everyone.

Andrew was our lead installer and installation is an absolute piece of art! He rebuilt our supply plenum and reconfigured the return air to better balance the system. He was also able to adjust the routing on a few ducts to buy us more head room in our very constrained basement entry. The way he figured out how to route everything was incredible and further reinforced how our poor our previous installation was. This was a really tight space and to do as clean of an install as he did is absolutely amazing! You can tell in looking at the details that they take pride in their work. And I have never had a contractor who has left the work area so clean. They put down tarps and cardboard, and cleaned everything before they left. There was no trace they were even in the house. I now understand how a properly installed system looks and runs and sleep better knowing it. We have had the unit in operation for a while now and it’s leaps and bound above our previous system, the house is much more comfortable and unlike our previous system, I can hardly tell this Carrier system is running. I’m so glad to have found JNL and will recommend them to anyone with heating and cooling needs.

.We came home on Sunday to find our air conditioner was not working. Monday morning I called JNL for service and they came out Tuesday. As I expected my 25 year old ac unit was done for. I asked to have a salesman come out to talk about a new unit as quickly as possible because we had a large party planned for the coming Friday. The JNL salesman came out the same day and I was able to schedule an emergency installation for Thursday the day before the party. Everything went smoothly by the end of the day Thursday we had a new air conditioner up and running just in time for our family get together. Everyone at JNL were very helpful and considerate about the need we had for a new ac unit and did a fantastic job taking care of us. I highly recommend them if you need a new furnace or air conditioner.

Once again we arrived home on Saturday and this time our furnace was not working. The temperature was 50 degrees in the house and dropping. I contacted JNL and arrange to have Al from sales to come on Monday. He is great to work with and very strait forward. We discussed options and he made very good suggestions and recommendation on equipment. Our new furnace was installed by Andrew who worked quickly and efficiently. He spent extra time to tune the furnace to work with our previously installed zone heating system to insure they worked together as intended. JNL has taken care of my daughter's heating and cooling needs for years and now us. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an reputable company that can provide quick follow up and great work when needed .

Every experience through the process - with AL, Jeff and Alex - was top-notch. They all provided clear information about our system and options that was easy for a person without HVAC knowledge to understand.

We just had JNL install a new American Standard furnace in our home. About two years ago, we had them replace our A/C unit. Over the past 30 years, they have installed 3 complete furnace and A/C systems for us at three different homes, in addition to doing a full system at my son's townhouse. Every time we have had permit inspections, the inspectors always comment about the great quality workmanship performed by JNL. We also have JNL perform annual maintenance on our equipment which is very important. We rarely require any servicing beyond that.

I actually looked back at a review I did three years ago, and all the same comments still apply: Great workmanship, highly responsive, very professional, extremely fair pricing - just an outstanding company to do business with. They take time to answer all your questions, they don't try to sell you things you don't need, and they back their work. I've referred JNL to a lot of people over the years. People ask "do you get competitive quotes for your projects?" For most big ticket jobs around the house, my answer is yes. But not when it comes to HVAC. We only call JNL.

You'll find most of the technicians at JNL have been there a long time, and I think that says a lot about the company, its values, and how they do business. They were efficient in the installation and the new system looked so much cleaner than the old unit which looked like it was put together with duct tape. Enrique we’d a great technician. Got a text that he was on the way. He arrived within the window that i wad told a technician be at my residence. He was very polite and did a great job. There was a part on the humidifier that needs to be replaced. He did not have the part and apologized for not having and assured me the office would be calling the next day to set up an appointment to come and replace the part. We had a technician come to look at our AC unit. He sent someone the next day to install a new motor and capacitor. Cost $1010. When paying bill I was told the unit would likely fail soon and I needed a replacement. They could do it and reimburse $500. Ummm, what?! I met with their sales guy. I ran the AC for a short period with replaced parts and found moisture collecting in basement where it hadn't and that was dripping into my furnace. I shut off my refurbished AC. The people I met were courteous and responsive but they should have called out the age of my unit and used another technique to measure pressure BEFORE replacing parts. I am not a happy customer.

JNL was great from the beginning. When I called they were very busy, and promised to call back. They called back fairly promptly and was able to schedule my service for next day. The technician Rob, was very respectful and helpful. He was able to identify and correct the issue fairly quickly.

Our AC went out at the end of last summer, I asked around for a reference and Jeff reached out to me right away and I explained my issue he went through everything with me and explained in detail my best options. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and service of JNL. John came out to give me an estimate and didn’t try to oversell me on a furnace/ac combo I didn’t need (even though other companies did). He was straightforward and honest all throughout the process. Received my estimate and was blown away how reasonable it was. They came out in the workfare at the agreed to time, and they installed my furnace and a/c in less than 8 hours. American Standard furnace and ac, and this is quality stuff. My new ac unit is so quiet compared to my former 26 year old Bryant. They moved my thermostat to a proper location, too. I am really happy with the job they did, the fact they offered great financing, and my overall experience. I highly recommend them.

Hello, we have a 3500 Sq ft home with central heat/air. jnl came highly recommended by a neighbor after our hvac tech of 15 years left the business. We set up a clean and check, the young man that showed was on time, friendly, seemed to know what he was doing and the pricing was reasonable. Satisfied with the initial visit, we called them again for service only to have a contrasting experience. jnl tried charging my spouse $400 to replace a part that retails on average $40 in addition to the $200 she already paid. We called the office to ask why the price was steep and they had an indifferent, insensitive and rude fellow speak to us. We certainly won't be calling these folks again and will advise the neighbors to steer clear of them.

07/21/21 This is a review for both last fall’s furnace maintenance and today’s AC maintenance. I used JNL for installing furnace, air and water heater in 2012. Their techs are experienced and thorough and customer support is great! They have been and continue to be the best company I’ve ever used.

02/13/21 Discovered Sat. at 10:30 pm on that furnace was no longer sending heat. Called JNL and their tech, Kevin, called right back. He was at my house by 12:30 am and replaced bad part. Amazing service and support from JNL and crew, as usual! And as the temp was -2 degrees, I am extremely grateful!

Their quote was just about half of what ABC quoted. They were quick, efficient, and professional and I’d highly recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

JNL replaced both my heating unit and air conditioning unit. I found the operator answering the phone, the owner who provided the quote and the installers all friendly and very, very professional. There was a small "issue" that I won't go into details about but the important take away for me was that the "issue" at hand was handled with integrity rarely found in business today. I will use JNL for all my heating and air needs and I recommend them highly to your family as well. They are locally owned and care about doing the job right and customer satisfaction above all else. We had another fabulous expert with JNL. Jerry was on time, answered all of my questions and gave me notice to a few things that we need to keep our eye on. He also put furnace terminology into words that a non expert on furnace (me) understood. This is our third experience with JNL and we will continue to use them for all of our furnace and ac needs.

When my furnace broke in 2018 in October, they replaced it along with adding a thermostat and humidifier. A day after the installation, the furnace stopped working. It took a week of a service person coming out daily, to get the furnace started again and staying in working condition. The owner was very unhelpful at the time. A little less than three years later the furnace broke, JNL could not fix it and I was again without heat. The serviceman that was coming to fix the furnace, after another serviceman had not been able to fix it, called at 10:19pm the night before and was slurring his words. He told me that their best technician hadn’t fixed it and he wasn’t sure he would be able to do so. I questioned why he was coming if he thought he couldn’t fix it and he started yelling at me. I cancelled the appointment the next day and went to another company. The owner called me that same day and said he stood by his technician. Had no response about him calling late and being inebriated. I already had made an appointment with a new company.

Yeah! The new company J &R fixed my furnace. It was the thermostat. So nice to have heat after being cold 4 days.

I had JNL put in a whole new system in my home and they were great to work with from start to finish. John came to address all of my concerns and then helped me with finding the perfect system for my needs. Then the crew came for installation and they were top notch as well. They wore booties in my home and laid down protective coverings for my floors. Once done they had me inspect their work which was immaculate and they took the time to walk me through the features and new thermostat. Overall they get 5 stars from me and all my hvac business going fwd.

Jorge, the JNL technical rep, arrived at our home during the the specified time frame and proceeded to perform thorough maintenance on our air conditioning equipment, so we would be ready for summer. Purchased a Furnace and AC from JNL 17 or 18 years ago and have used them for Maintenance Tune-ups and the like. Their service has always been good, but have found out recently that they charge exorbitantly for simple parts. Had a maintenance contract with them and recently got charged $199 for a $20 capacitor. Could understand $199 if the price included the trip charge, but I had already paid for a maintenance contract. Had the same experience with a furnace part in the winter.

Jorge was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He wore his mask and covered his shoes. He changed our air filter and then was outside in 90 degree heat checking, tuning up and thoroughly cleaning our AC unit! I will definitely ask for him for our fall furnace check. Great company, used for years ( been here 36 years) and had furnace and air conditioner replace and installed by JNL too!

JNL is always on time and they are the ultimate professionals. One of the best service companies I’ve ever dealt with and that’s a big statement from somebody who works for the Walt Disney Company for over 20 years. Highly recommend JNL!

Woke up to an air conditioning unit that had stopped working overnight. Called JNL and they immediately scheduled my favorite tech Andy for later that afternoon. They are prompt and honest and do an excellent job. I highly recommend.

The crew arrived at 845am. They walked through the job and then went to work. After thermostat installation, they explained how it all worked, then showed me the new air conditioner and furnace. The areas they worked in were left cleaner than when they arrived (😬)

JNL Climate Control provided the best value for comparable furnace and AC unit to two other vendors. I've had past experience using them 16 years ago when I first moved into my new townhome. We have had JNL install HVAC systems at our previous home and our son's townhouse. They have also performed annual service on our systems for over twenty years. We recently purchased a home with a 30+ year old furnace and air conditioner. We found out that not only did the air conditioner have the now unavailable Freon, but most of the furnace parts were also unavailable. We decided that it was best to replace both as soon as possible. Being new to the area, we didn’t have any “go to” service/install companies. After researching and reading reviews, we chose JNL Climate Control. John listened to our needs and was able to schedule a visit within a few days. We discussed several options for both the furnace and air conditioner, as well as the humidifier. Additionally, we discussed our problem areas in the home and options to help correct. An install was scheduled for within a few weeks, as it wasn’t an emergency and we had heat.

A team from JNL arrived and explained how they would proceed with the install. John stopped by and also gave an update, with a few changes, after closely inspecting the work environment. The install went smoothly, and within a few hours, we had a new and more efficient furnace and air conditioner.

Everyone was very professional throughout the process and followed COVID-19 guidelines, wearing masks and keeping their distance from us.

It has been a week since the install and we cannot believe the difference it has made. No waking up to a noisy furnace. No filling humidifiers throughout the house. No feeling chilled in the main bathroom in the middle of the night.

I've used JNL twice now, the first time was to service an existing furnace. The more recent time was to install a media filter on our furnace. When speaking to john he was very knowledgeable about the different types of filters and what might work for me, and all the estimates of the presented options were very competitive. Once the filter was installed the job looked very cleanly done. It seemed very simple to open the filter cover since it has a magnetic closure (was previously filter was very difficult.) My father, a home inspector, uses JNL as his go-to refferral for heating and air, and I can see why. Highly recommend them for a professional job and knowledgeable service.

The service provided from JNL Climate Control Inc was above and beyond. They came to clean the furnace and moved my Hot Water Heater over because it was to close to my Water Softener and made it impossible to change the filter. They have been doing work in my house for 20+ years and are very professional. They always come out quickly, they communicate very well, & I have not had one bad experience with them. I will continue to use them in the future for any needs that may arise.

JNL did a great job installing a new water heater. They had to remove ducting to get to the existing water heater, and the new one was even wider. He got it in there and was done in ~3 hours. Thanks!

Great experience with JNL for my full HVAC system install in August. Equipment was 30 years old and original to the house so we had a new American Standard AC and HE furnace installed along with a whole home humidifier. They were very professional, on time and did great work. Kept the work area very clean and explained everything they did. All work was completed in one full day as promised. Very reasonable price compared to the various other companies I had out for a quote. They also did some plumbing work for us and we were very happy with that as well.

JNL has always been a class act. I called them yesterday on a Sunday with an in operable air-conditioner. I wanted service for Monday since I was not going to be home yesterday. They tried to come out right away to fix my unit but I told them Monday was fine. The technician came out today and was very professional and efficient and took care of my problem right away. He even took the time to clean my air conditioner which was not requested at the time I placed the call. He gave me a courtesy call when he was on his way and was very punctual. Their prices are very fair and beat out their competition. I would recommend and have been recommending them to everyone I know. You won’t be disappointed!

Andy has typically been the lead service consultant to service me and honestly, he is THE BEST!!! The office staff is great and their emergency service has been superior!!! Having been serviced by JNL Climate Control for 4 years I was very happy with the swiftness of them in replacing my A/C when it died during a heat wave recently. The servicemen were very knowledgeable & considerate of my property. They cleaned up completely after installation of both the A/C & furnace. I highly recommend this company.

We have used JNL for a couple of years now and I am so glad that we switched companies! Their office staff is very nice as are their technicians. Our tech arrived earlier than expected, but he did call to confirm that it would be okay. He did a great job checking the system, cleaning the outside unit thoroughly and leaving everything in order. I love how the techs with JNL always wear shoe covers too. This is an A++++ company.
