We have used JNL for years and on a day like today (-10 degrees) it is a great feeling to know that our furnace is working at its best to keep us warm. We have used JNL for over 23 years, first for repairs on our old AC & furnace and later it was a no brainer when we needed new units. So nice that they offer a very reasonable maintenance agreement which has many perks besides keeping the AC & furnace in top shape. I would highly recommend this business. Of all the estimates I had at my house they were the only ones that took the time to explain, in detail, everything they would replace and install. Kurt brought with him some air conditioner technical information I could read, required up to date insurance paperwork, along with prior references. In his proposal he gave me a couple of American Standard air conditioner options to choose from that would be appropriate for our Midwest climate. His delivery was far superior to the other companies I interviewed. The two young men that installed were very respectful of my property and also very personable and professional. I was extremely happy with the entire process and feel confident knowing I have a reputable HVAC business to rely on in the future. I wish them much success!!

Update 05/2020: Still the best.Woke up to an air conditioning unit that had stopped working overnight. Called JNL and they immediately scheduled my favorite tech Andy for later that afternoon. Highly recommend them for heating & air conditioners. Did such a great job for my condo that we used them to replace furnace at my parents' home when basement flooded. Excellent service for simple maintenance too - have them out twice a year to make sure everything stays in tip top shape. Just had a/c clean-up today & whole place even smells better! Truly a customer for life!

I called late at night, for my AC That wasn’t working, had someone call me back in the morning; they said they would send someone out between 9-10, it was 8;40 at this point, the gentleman was here by 930 and was done by 10:15. He was professional and let me know everything that was going on before he did anything. Great service. My family has used JNL for over a decade.

Called after 9PM for an A/C not working. I got service within one day in 90+ temps, even faster than the fast service they scheduled. They fit me in ASAP, called to keep me informed, and Andy fixed the problem very fast. Couldn’t recommend them more!

These guys were extremely professional and thorough from the quote to the finish, and very helpful answering many questions I had. They installed two furnaces and an air conditioner for me and was extremely pleased how it turned out. They did the install in January and as a courtesy came out in May just to make sure the air conditioner was working properly. Also they were the lowest of three quotes I got for the job. Highly recommended.

05/03/22Heat wasn’t coming on and I thought it was the thermostat. JNL’s tech Andy found the problem right away and it was a simple fix. JNL has consistently been the best company to work with and their techs are the best. 10 years with them and never disappointed!07/21/21 This is a review for both last fall’s furnace maintenance and today’s AC maintenance. I used JNL for installing furnace, air and water heater in 2012. Their techs are experienced and thorough and customer support is great! They have been and continue to be the best company I’ve ever used.02/13/21 Discovered Sat. at 10:30 pm on that furnace was no longer sending heat. Called JNL and their tech, Kevin, called right back. He was at my house by 12:30 am and replaced bad part. Amazing service and support from JNL and crew, as usual! And as the temp was -2 degrees, I am extremely grateful!I have two very demanding sisters that used JNL for their homes and they recommended them. JNL installed my furnace, central air and water heater seven years ago and did an incredible job. I can’t say enough about their staff and techs. They are the best!

This is a great group of guys. We used JNL 15 years ago to install a complete system on a previous house. We were happy then, and we are happy today after they installed a new heat and a/c in our new house. They did a nice job today. We let them put in our new water heater too. We called around but nobody was able to beat their price. One company told us “if JNL can do it for what we were quoted - jump on it”. So we did!Thank you Kurt for sending out the good guys. JNL was professional and friendly from the first phone call I made. ABC previously quoted me $13k to replace my furnace and AC, so I called JNL for a second opinion based on the great reviews. Their quote was just about half of what ABC quoted. They were quick, efficient, and professional and I’d highly recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

Kurt was great! He was very honest and up front when answering my questions and concerns. Andrew the technician that come out to perform the service also answered my questions and was knowledgeable with the repairs that needed to be done. The repair was done well in a timely fashion. I had JNL install a water heater for me, it was short notice and around the holiday so I thought I was gonna have to wait but I called on a Friday afternoon and on Monday morning Jason had me hooked up with a new water heater. JNL replaced both my heating unit and air conditioning unit. I found the operator answering the phone, the owner who provided the quote and the installers all friendly and very, very professional. There was a small "issue" that I won't go into details about but the important take away for me was that the "issue" at hand was handled with integrity rarely found in business today. I will use JNL for all my heating and air needs and I recommend them highly to your family as well. They are locally owned and care about doing the job right and customer satisfaction above all else. They are not just words on a page, they live the motto.

We had another fabulous expert with JNL. Jerry was on time, answered all of my questions and gave me notice to a few things that we need to keep our eye on. He also put furnace terminology into words that a non expert on furnace (me) understood. This is our third experience with JNL and we will continue to use them for all of our furnace and ac needs.

When my furnace broke in 2018 in October, they replaced it along with adding a thermostat and humidifier. A day after the installation, the furnace stopped working. It took a week of a service person coming out daily, to get the furnace started again and staying in working condition. The owner was very unhelpful at the time. A little less than three years later the furnace broke, JNL could not fix it and I was again without heat. The serviceman that was coming to fix the furnace, after another serviceman had not been able to fix it, called at 10:19pm the night before and was slurring his words. He told me that their best technician hadn’t fixed it and he wasn’t sure he would be able to do so. I questioned why he was coming if he thought he couldn’t fix it and he started yelling at me. I cancelled the appointment the next day and went to another company. The owner called me that same day and said he stood by his technician. Had no response about him calling late and being inebriated. I already had made an appointment with a new company.Yeah! The new company J &R fixed my furnace. It was the thermostat. So nice to have heat after being cold 4 days.

I had JNL put in a whole new system in my home and they were great to work with from start to finish. John came to address all of my concerns and then helped me with finding the perfect system for my needs. Then the crew came for installation and they were top notch as well. They wore booties in my home and laid down protective coverings for my floors. Once done they had me inspect their work which was immaculate and they took the time to walk me through the features and new thermostat. Overall they get 5 stars from me and all my hvac business going fwd.

I've been using JNL for 10 years. They installed my new furnace 10 years ago (along with duct work) and have maintained it and my AC unit since then. They are very knowledgeable and always available to answer questions. I've never had any issues with scheduling appointments or getting in contact with them. I'm very picky with companies I use for services and they always meet or exceed my expectations.

Jason was a complete professional responding in less than 10 minutes to our emergency call as our A/C was not working. He arrived on time as promised, diagnosing and fixing the issue in less than an hour. He offered advice and assistance with any future maintenance. Zach came and thoroughly walked us through our system and air ducts. We’ve been having trouble getting the proper air flow to our child’s room. He really took his time explaining everything in terms we could understand. Zach cleaned our AC unit as well and inspected it. Showed us a few things that needed top offs so we’re good to go. Highly recommend how helpful Zach was with outstanding customer service! We’ll be using JNL again.

Purchased a Furnace and AC from JNL 17 or 18 years ago and have used them for Maintenance Tune-ups and the like. Their service has always been good, but have found out recently that they charge exorbitantly for simple parts. Had a maintenance contract with them and recently got charged $199 for a $20 capacitor. Could understand $199 if the price included the trip charge, but I had already paid for a maintenance contract. Had the same experience with a furnace part in the winter.

Jorge was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He wore his mask and covered his shoes. He changed our air filter and then was outside in 90 degree heat checking, tuning up and thoroughly cleaning our AC unit! I will definitely ask for him for our fall furnace check. Great company, used for years ( been here 36 years) and had furnace and air conditioner replace and installed by JNL too!

The crew arrived at 845am. They walked through the job and then went to work. After thermostat installation, they explained how it all worked, then showed me the new air conditioner and furnace. The areas they worked in were left cleaner than when they arrived (😬)I was explained the warranty and the day was complete! Great job, polite, and thorough. I would highly recommend JNL

We have had JNL install HVAC systems at our previous home and our son's townhouse. They have also performed annual service on our systems for over twenty years. Great workmanship, highly responsive, very professional, extremely fair pricing - just an outstanding company to do business with. We have had several dealings directly with John Beening evaluating our systems, providing recommendations and answering any questions we've had. All the service technicians are the same way. They will explain what they are doing, are more than happy to answer questions. We don't even call other companies for quotes. You won't have to either.

We recently purchased a home with a 30+ year old furnace and air conditioner. We found out that not only did the air conditioner have the now unavailable Freon, but most of the furnace parts were also unavailable. We decided that it was best to replace both as soon as possible. Being new to the area, we didn’t have any “go to” service/install companies. After researching and reading reviews, we chose JNL Climate Control. John listened to our needs and was able to schedule a visit within a few days. We discussed several options for both the furnace and air conditioner, as well as the humidifier. Additionally, we discussed our problem areas in the home and options to help correct. An install was scheduled for within a few weeks, as it wasn’t an emergency and we had heat.A team from JNL arrived and explained how they would proceed with the install. John stopped by and also gave an update, with a few changes, after closely inspecting the work environment. The install went smoothly, and within a few hours, we had a new and more efficient furnace and air conditioner.Everyone was very professional throughout the process and followed COVID-19 guidelines, wearing masks and keeping their distance from us.It has been a week since the install and we cannot believe the difference it has made. No waking up to a noisy furnace. No filling humidifiers throughout the house. No feeling chilled in the main bathroom in the middle of the night.Thank you JNL Climate Control!

I've used JNL twice now, the first time was to service an existing furnace. The more recent time was to install a media filter on our furnace. When speaking to john he was very knowledgeable about the different types of filters and what might work for me, and all the estimates of the presented options were very competitive. Once the filter was installed the job looked very cleanly done. It seemed very simple to open the filter cover since it has a magnetic closure (was previously filter was very difficult.) My father, a home inspector, uses JNL as his go-to refferral for heating and air, and I can see why. Highly recommend them for a professional job and knowledgeable service.

The service provided from JNL Climate Control Inc was above and beyond. They came to clean the furnace and moved my Hot Water Heater over because it was to close to my Water Softener and made it impossible to change the filter. They have been doing work in my house for 20+ years and are very professional. They always come out quickly, they communicate very well, & I have not had one bad experience with them. I will continue to use them in the future for any needs that may arise.

Great service.Kurt gave me a full explanation of what he would do.price was great.Kurt worked with me to get financing. The day of install was first snow day. I was advised on arrival time, everything went smooth. Got new furnace and Smart thermostat installed.Kevin and Andrew were wonderful and cleaned up. I now have heat in my upper bedrooms.Kurt even sent them back to install an additional cold air return on the furnace for better air flow AFTER they had already left. I'm a homeowner and a general contractor. I had a hard time finding good quality HVAC company to perform furnace maintenance. JNL came recommended from one of my customers. I called JNL and was surprised how easy and efficient the scheduling process was. They put me on their schedule and followed up with email as promised. On the day of service I received reminder call. The crew showed up on time, they were professional, knowledgeable, inspected and cleaned the furnace. They also offered me few options on future pro active service, which I accepted. We called on a Sunday later in the day on hvac. They had a tech out by about 1pm on Monday. He figured out the problem pretty quick, fixed it and the heat was up and running. Great company, highly recommend! Will definitely call them next time!

Called later in the evening with an AC problem and left a message with their service. I promptly received a call back at 8:05 in the morning and they were able to schedule a technician to my home the same day. He arrived promptly within the service window they had stated. The technician(Zach) was able to answer my questions confidently and professionally. He diagnosed my problem and offered a temporary solution while a quote for parts and labor were being prepared for more permanent repairs.

We recently moved to our house and asked JNL to complete an annual maintenance and install a Nest thermostat. The technician that came out was great. Very professional and courteous. After installing the Nest, he walked me through the set up (including iPhone app) and showed me how to use it. The annual maintenance went smooth. Overall great service and very reasonable prices. Extremely professional tech they came out. He could have done what I thought was wrong and charge me an arm and a leg longer other companies that I have used in the past. Andrew, our JNL installation tech arrived on time, not only very professional but also friendly. He answered all our concerns and was very patient with all of our questions. He did a wonderful and thorough job not missing any details the installation of a new furnace. He was very careful to put down drop tarps and the clean up was great. He wore covers on his shoes each time he entered into our home. We would recommend JNL to all our friends and family. New have also had plumbing work done by JNL and Paul gave us the same attention as did Andrew. I came home from a business trip to find the furnace no longer working. I called JNL and received a call from the On Call Technician within 10 minutes. After reviewing options, it was determined that a new furnace was needed. Curt came out the next morning and presented options, gave an honest opinion of what was best, and told me he could have a tech out the next business day to perform the install. Andrew was on time, very professional, and got the old furnace removed and the new furnace up and running in a few hours! JNL Climate Control is AWESOME and I would recommend them to anyone!

Great experience with JNL for my full HVAC system install in August. Equipment was 30 years old and original to the house so we had a new American Standard AC and HE furnace installed along with a whole home humidifier. They were very professional, on time and did great work. Kept the work area very clean and explained everything they did. All work was completed in one full day as promised. Very reasonable price compared to the various other companies I had out for a quote. They also did some plumbing work for us and we were very happy with that as well.

I have been a customer of JNL for over 15 years and I have found the technicians to be knowledgeable and very helpful. I have had on two occasions the need for a technician to return after a service call was completed and I never felt like I was inconveniencing them. I was reminded that I am paying for a service and they want to ensure 100% satisfaction. The office staff tries to give you the earliest possible appointment, but if they are booked they explain why.

JNL has always been a class act. I called them yesterday on a Sunday with an in operable air-conditioner. I wanted service for Monday since I was not going to be home yesterday. They tried to come out right away to fix my unit but I told them Monday was fine. The technician came out today and was very professional and efficient and took care of my problem right away. He even took the time to clean my air conditioner which was not requested at the time I placed the call. He gave me a courtesy call when he was on his way and was very punctual. Their prices are very fair and beat out their competition. I would recommend and have been recommending them to everyone I know. You won’t be disappointed!
